I also like this idea.  Heck, anything which offers a stamp of
"legitimacy" is a tempting marketing tool.  There is a lack of
standardization regarding shared test data and it sounds like the IETF
process is lightweight enough that we can actually get things done.

I guess it goes without saying that I'd like to be part of the IETF
group.
